Fresh Hop Festival

Voted one of the top ten beer festivals in the nation, Fresh Hop Ale Festival is a celebration of the hop and craft beer industry.  The Yakima Valley produces 75% of the United States' hop crop, and this festival showcases the unique beers that are produced with Yakima valley's hops.  For a beer to be considered a “fresh hop ale,” it must be produced with Yakima Valley hops that were picked no more than 24 hours prior to brewing. This is a one-of-a-kind beer festival that is only possible in the heart of hop country!

We'll be there pouring all three varieties of Field to Ferment (Centennial, Amarillo, and Citra) as well as our Cowiche Canyon Fresh Hop Ale!

Calling all Washington craft beer and outdoor enthusiasts - The 2017 Seattle Beers Made by Walking special tapping event is coming to Naked City Brewery & Taphouse this Oct. 7th from 1:00-5:00pm! Beers Made By Walking invites brewers to go on nature hikes and make new beers inspired by plants observed on the trail. Each beer is a unique, drinkable portrait of the landscape. This event showcases 10 place-based beers from 10 Washington breweries inspired by one of three trails and hikes they attended over the summer organized by Washington Wild. Hikes included the Upper CCC Trail, Wallace Falls, and Cherry Creeks Falls.

In the Time Before Light, Unicorns ruled the Universe. And Time passed. Until it stopped passing and began to make Beer. And it was good. But Time was Lonely, so it begat two Breweries. And thusly Fremont Brewing and Perennial Artisan Ales were spat into the World. And they made Beer. And it was good. When, Lo, one Day, they made Beer together and aged it in Bourbon Barrels for a long time. And then they added Cherries. And Aged it a long time. But it wasn’t good enough for their elevated taste. So, they added Unicorn Tears. And it was Good. Behold, Burst Forth into the World is Barrel-Aged Unicorn Tears. Enjoy only with those that are worthy. …Never Play Leapfrog With A Unicorn…Cheers!
